2008 Gift Of Life Baby
The child's name is Skerlyn Mateo Soto. She is 1 years of age.
Here is the latest schedule:
10/22 - Baby Skerlyn undergoes surgery to repair a hole in her heart.
10/26 - Out of Hospital and staying with family residing in Yonkers.
10/27 - Kevin & Nancy take Mom and Baby on a shopping spree.
10/31 - Baby cleared by Doctors to go back to Dominican Republic.
11/13 - Baby Skerlyn back home to Dominican Republic.

2008-2009 Paul Harris Award
The Paul Harris Fellowship Award is one of the highest honors Rotary can bestow upon a person. Recipients are Rotarians and community professionals in recognition of their outstanding contributions, exemplifying the highest ideal in Rotary in placing “SERVICE ABOVE SELF.” This honor accompanies a donation of $1,000 or more, in the recipient’s name, to Rotary International’s “Annual Program Fund,” which supports Rotary’s world-wide programs.

Our Monthly Speaker Program
One suggestion that has come up at several Board of Director meetings, is that we have more Rotary related topics
presented by our speakers....So, Pres. Nancy has asked the Board of Directors to each take a month and be responsible
for a Rotary topic, which may be in the form of a game, outside speaker, the board member as the speaker,
whatever....One can get creative here....
Below is the List of Speakers and what Month they are responsible for....They will work directly with you both to schedule
their Wednesday..Keep them to it!!

The Tommy Fund
Established in 1991, The Tommy Fund seeks to raise money to help offset the financial burdens of parents with children who have special medical needs. Originally dedicated to one individual beset from birth with a host of medical problems, the fund has since helped numerous other children.
