Welcome to the Summer of 2007
In the musical, "Carousel," there is a song entitled June is Busting out all over" Well.......that could apply to our club. We have had a
great year with membership, our Gift of Life effort, Hurricane Katrina Relief, great weekly programs, our new committee system,
and the money that we have raised. It is now time to finish up. June the 8th is the joint venture with NFTE at the Tuckahoe High School. We have a wrap up party for John Bahr in the offing.
There will be a change of command for officers and we are working very hard on our golf outing (Very Important!). So stick with us
through the summer. Our Club does not shut down; in fact we do the bulk of our work for fund raising
then. Watch the site for more great ideas. See you at the meetings.

Gold Star Mother Memorial!!
The
Home of the Gold Star Mothers Tribute has been completed. The
American Legion & VFW have obtained the necessary funds for
the memorial. Their new organization, The Home of the Gold Star
Mothers Tribute, has been formed to complete the monument in
Eastchester and to help all who would erect monuments all across
this great nation. Any Mother that has lost a child should receive
our tribute and love.

Need to make-up a few missed
luncheons? Well, now you can with e-club. There are about 15
e-clubs...This convenience should help members out with their
attendance. So, if you feel you are weak in attendance, feel free to
look into the e-club.
