With the start of September, the Summer comes to an end. Labor Day barbecues are in full force and good times are shared by friends and family. Happy Holiday to all !!

If you run a traditional business or are part of one that works on a calendar year, now is the time you work hard to finish off the year. In our Eastchester Rotary, we are at the beginning of the year. We have had two great fundraisers in terms of participation and profit. We now have the year in front of us. Here is a general picture of what we have to do. As usual we need to build our members. Our Rotary club can not be a static organization. Please help our program committee with speakers. Paul and Joey V. are doing great, but help is always appreciated. Our projects are our store-front window. When we do good things, that is how we are noticed, so please participate. It is Rotary to do so .... "Service above Self."

Gold Star Mother Memorial!! The Home of the Gold Star Mothers Tribute has been determined. The American Legion & VFW are in the process of obtaining funds for the memorial. Their new organization, The Home of the Gold Star Mothers Tribute, has been formed to complete the monument in Eastchester and to help all who would erect monuments all across this great nation. Any Mother that has lost a child should receive our tribute and love. Makeup!! Need to make-up a few missed luncheons? Well, now you can with e-club. There are about 15 e-clubs...This convenience should help members out with their attendance. So, if you feel you are weak in attendance, feel free to look into the e-club. Click here for more info.

He will discuss current trends in real estate.
